Minimalism

This is what I know

It’s not okay to touch me
It’s not okay to touch
It’s not okay
It’s not okay to admit
It’s not okay to admit the truth

This is what I know

There is a darkness
A darkness inside
Inside of you
It is acceptable
It is loveable
If you hide it
If you hide it well

This is what I know

Don’t look at
the darkness
Don’t talk about
the darkness
It isn’t real
unless you speak it’s name
aloud

This is what I know

It’s not okay to touch me
It’s not okay to touch
It’s not okay
It’s not okay to admit
It’s not okay to admit you know

This is what I know

The darkness
is acceptable
unless they know it’s there
unless they know it
unless they know

This is what I know
